"Once a student... forever an alum"
The Student Alumni Association (SAA) is a growing organization that seeks to give a sense of community to UA students while they are on campus. The SAA is committed to UA and its students; moreover, it is the goal of SAA to instill a sense of pride in undergraduates as well as graduate students so that as they enter their career field, he or she will have positive memories of their college experience. The SAA puts on events such as the Teacher Appreciation Breakfast, Scholarship Recipients Reception, funds several book scholarships, and selects the Senior Woman of the Year. The SAA also lends a hand to alumni returning for Homecoming. Additionally, the SAA President serves on the Arizona Alumni Association's National Board of Directors.
